For the most cited factors when choosing information sources, <strong>\u2018direct experience of trying on and comparing products\u2019<\/strong> was the most significant element offline while<strong> \u2018the availability of various and trustworthy reviews\u2019<\/strong> was important online. It is noteworthy to see that the older generation (the forties and above) had a higher subscription rate for Youtube, KakaoTalk, Facebook, Twitter, and Tiktok compared to the younger generation(teens to thirties). The main reasons for subscribing to luxury brands\u2019 social media channels were \u2018in order to obtain information on new products(50.5%)\u2019 followed by \u2018in order to get an update on recent news related to the brand(31.2%)\u2019 and \u2018to get benefits offered by the brand(29%)\u2019. The gender distribution was nearly even with a 50.1-49.9% ratio, male and female respectively. The sample was also divided into six different age groups: teens, twenties, thirties, forties, fifties, and sixties and above.
